Opportunities

18 founder opportunities are open this week.

The first one closes June 12. Do not sleep on it.

18 founder opportunities are open this week — Adtivity Open This Week cover, Monday June 1 2026.

Quick question before you scroll: how many founders do you reckon actually know that 18 new opportunities opened up for them this week? Honestly, most will never hear about a single one, and not because the programmes are hidden, but because nobody has the time to read every accelerator page, grant call and residency deadline across six regions. That is the whole job of Open This Week. Every Monday this is the friendly round-up of what is genuinely open for founders right now, who each programme is built for, and which ones are worth a calendar block before they close. This week there are 18 of them, three of them only opened in May, and three close inside June, so here is the tour, region by region.

Africa

Three open doors on the continent this week, and the freshest one only opened a few days ago.

  • Savant Build Cohort 4: up to €80,000 in grant funding for African deep-tech hardware founders working in climate-tech and the green economy, with three months in Cape Town from August. Applications opened May 29, deadline June 15. The kind of room that actually pays attention to the engineering side of the build.
  • GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize 2026: $50K cheques for one male-led and one female-led venture plus $60K of impact awards across climate resilience, nutrition, jobs and tech. Applications close June 28. The fastest non-dilutive lane on the continent for anyone building across the agri-food value chain.
  • Accelerate Africa: Future Africa's pan-African launchpad, up to $500K in pre-seed or seed investment after an 8-week build, no equity asked to apply. Open until July 25. The biggest cheque on the African list and the clearest founder-to-cheque conveyor belt for global-leaning African teams.

EU

Europe is where the deep-tech grants live, and the freshest move is the new seed-stage prep layer.

  • Bpifrance Deeptech Seed Accelerator: a four-month programme built to prepare French deeptech founders for their first seed or Series A, with 12 hours of personal coaching plus four group workshops in Paris. Three 2026 cohorts of 25 startups each, €300K the minimum target raise. The first sovereign-backed seed-prep programme of its kind in Europe.
  • EIC Accelerator: up to €2.5M in grant plus up to €10M in EIC Fund equity for deep-tech startups across the EU and Horizon Europe associated countries. Next full-proposal cut-off July 8, and the short proposal goes in any time.
  • EXIST Gründungsstipendium: twelve months of founder salary plus up to €30K in materials and coaching, with zero equity taken, rolling for founders attached to a German university. Germany's quiet pre-seed, paid in runway instead of dilution

US

The US list is anchored by the cleanest non-dilutive federal cheque in tech.

  • NSF SBIR Phase I (AI track): up to $305K in non-dilutive funding for U.S. small businesses building AI hardware, deep-learning models, computer vision or conversational AI. Project Pitch window opens June 2, full proposal cut-off July 27, no equity taken. The cleanest no-dilution cheque the US federal government writes into founders.
  • Google for Startups Accelerator: North America: equity-free, focused on AI and machine learning for energy, with up to $350K in Google Cloud credits and a cohort that kicks off in September. The window runs to June 30.
  • Y Combinator Fall 2026: $500K for the standard 7%, with the on-time deadline landing in early August. Whatever you make of the brand, the cheque clears and the alumni door stays open for years

LATAM

Latin America carries the most urgent door on the whole list, so start here.

  • EU-LAC Digital Accelerator: up to €30K in acceleration services (€40K if a Caribbean partner is in) and a six-month proof-of-concept with a European corporate that already has the budget and the intent to buy. Open Call #5 closes June 12 — the most urgent deadline on this week's list.
  • 500 Latam: $60K cheque for equity into ten startups per cohort, across a sixteen-week programme out of Mexico City. Three batches a year, the longest-running room for Spanish-speaking founders, with an alumni list (Konfío, Clip, 99Minutos) that does most of the talking.
  • Latitud: pre-seed Fellowship cohort plus a Latitud Ventures cheque for the strongest teams, on an evergreen pipeline. The Brazilian-anchored room that connects.

MENA

The Gulf is quietly paying founders just to show up, and Saudi Arabia just opened a brand-new room.

  • Riyadh Techstars Accelerator: $120K (SAR 450,000) in financing per company via the partnership with Raed Ventures, across a three-month Saudi programme for ten selected startups. The cleanest founder route onto a Saudi cap table.
  • Hub71: up to $100K in subsidies covering ADGM office space, a housing allowance, health insurance and cloud credits. Cohort 20 applications run until August 2. Abu Dhabi essentially underwrites your first year.
  • Sanabil Accelerator by Orbit: $100K in initial investment plus follow-on, a four-month pre-seed programme focused on sales, marketing and product. Backed by Sanabil Investments, a PIF-owned vehicle, and one of the most active early-stage rooms in MENA right now.

APAC

Asia-Pacific closes the tour with Korea's flagship for foreign founders, an equity-free Southeast Asian seat, and a Singapore residency.

  • K-Startup Grand Challenge 2026: Korea's flagship government-backed entry path for non-Korean founders, with around 100 teams selected for a phased Korean residency, prize money for the top 20 and commercialisation grants for the top 8, plus three years of follow-up support. Main track closes June 17 at 15:00 KST.
  • Google for Startups Accelerator: Southeast Asia: equity-free, three months with in-person bootcamps in San Francisco or Singapore, up to $350K of Google Cloud credits per startup, kicking off in August. Applications close June 20.
  • Antler Singapore: up to $400K at inception, starting with a $150K ticket for 10% after a six-week build. Rolling applications for the September residency. The default room for a founder who has not yet found a co-founder.
